residents, neighborhood organizations and employees.
Office Description
Organized by teams, the Office of Communications
& Neighborhood Relations
provides support to the Office of the Mayor, Office of City
Commissioners and City departments. Teams
include:

Events
and Marketing
The Events and Marketing team produces the City's four signature
events - Blues-B-Q, Fireworks at the Fountain, the Veterans Day
Parade and Holiday Lights Orlando - in addition to several
groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings and other special events throughout
the year.

Graphic
Design The Graphic Design team provides professional marketing material to
support City initiatives and services, including brochures, posters,
logos and flyers.

Interactive
Programs
The Interactive Programs team provides professional marketing material
to support City initiatives and services, including e-mail blasts,
social media and the City's website,
CityofOrlando.net.
•
Multimedia
The Multimedia team creates photography and videos to promote and
capture city events and initiatives. Their productions include
the live City Council meeting broadcasts, Decisions 2010; The Loop,
featuring promotions and news on City programs on flat screens at
City Hall and other city facilities; and other public service
announcements and informational programming aired on Orange TV.

Neighborhood Relations
The Neighborhood Relations team assists neighborhood groups
and residents in effectively accessing and using City services and
other community resources to enhance the quality of life in
Orlando’s neighborhoods.
The Office of
Communications & Neighborhood Relations is also responsible for providing emergency
information during hurricanes or other disasters as part of the
City’s emergency plan.
